It was a lovely day for a drive and we did have a lovely drive. Lots of green fields sheep and dairy cattle lots of old stone fences which we think convicts may have build. The whole area is strewn with volcanic rocks which were spewed up. more »

Giant Kelp at Killarny Beach. We stayed at a park just on the beach. As I was walking on the beach two guys nearly drowned their car but I could not get there quick enough for a picture.

Dahlias at Portland Botanical Gardens and the Aluminium smelter. There were great stacks of aluminium ingots stored there and this conveyer travels a great distance to the port .

Halls Gap Caravan Park in the Grampians

We had a lovely time in the Grampians very spectacular but he weather was cold and a bit bleak. Not good for photographs,but it is certainly worth seeing and if you are a walker there are lots and lots of tracks and trails to follow. more »

. Rocklands reservior near Hynes Camp. Not much water you can dirve accross it in places. Stayed four days until Easter Sunday. Went for a drive on the Western side of The Grampians will do the other side soon.
