October 28th, 2010Wallaman Falls - Spectacular particularly after good rains like now. And it is easy to get to. Walk to the bottom if you are game. It is a long way back up again.

Visit to Paluma is well worth the visit there is a lovely little township there and lots of lovely secenry and walks. Plus the best cheese cake ever.

Poppa on the farm
September 28th, 2010Tootie and Wendy now have a farm in the Upper Barron area. Just beautiful but no level ground for the bus oldies. They have about 50 cattle there and they are all in really good nick. I love the pic with Poppa Tootie and grandson Mark more »

Granite Gorge

We had a grass fire in the hay paddock at Olga caused by jumper lead terminals arcing. Carmel Peter and I were right there but it got away from us in no time at all. Beating it had little or no effect.
