Jardine River. We made it a little shaken but still in one piece. We could not get the bus on the ferry as it was too steep on the aproach and we had too much overhang. Couple of days of rest coming up.

On good advice we headed off the "main road" to the tip to visit Elliot Falls. It is about 17k up the telegraph track. Well, the pictures tell the story. We got across the creek alright but could not get enough traction to get up the other side.… more »

Arthur in Atherton Hospital. Being repaired after injuring his leg with a grinder with a tungston blade jammed and took a chunck out just below the knee. Had it been the other leg we could have just ordered another one.

Tinnaroo lake. We got to put the boat in after a long "dry" and set our redclaw pots tried the fishing but all to no avail. Then the water was not flowing out of the motor as it should so we pulled it out again

Wallaman Falls - Spectacular particularly after good rains like now. And it is easy to get to. Walk to the bottom if you are game. It is a long way back up again.

Visit to Paluma is well worth the visit there is a lovely little township there and lots of lovely secenry and walks. Plus the best cheese cake ever.
